ALLIE LEITZ
Hi! Welcome to my E-Portfolio!
About Me
My name is Allison Leitz. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion and a Master of Public Health in Health Policy and Management from the University of Georgia. I have a strong passion for improving public health. My experience as a Research Assistant at the UGA College of Public Health Sexual Health and Reproduction Lab, where I worked on qualitative data analysis, reinforced my commitment to advancing reproductive health policy. Additionally, my role as a Pharmacy Technician at CVS Pharmacy reinforced my dedication to improving community health as I work with patients to fill immunization gaps, adhere to medication schedules, administer COVID-19 testing and vaccinations, and accurately dispense medications. Outside of research and working in pharmacy, I actively engage in local community initiatives in Athens. I am currently a shift leader at UGA’s Campus Kitchen, a student led hunger relief program. Through my diverse experiences, I strive to make a meaningful impact in public health and community health.
